About Us

Falls Family Pastoral Counseling Center (FFPCC) was started by the Reverend Dr. Michael Shell of the Open Hearts Church.

The FFPCC treats individuals, couples, families and children with any number of complaints or problems. Utilizing Scriptural backing and the worship services of the church, any number of problems can be addressed and overcome with belief in the power of Christ.

We offer in-home counseling services, meaning that we come to you! This helps to keep our costs low and also provides a familiar atmosphere for the counselee. If this is not favorable, we do have a small office located just outside of town that can be used.

The Reverend

Dr. Michael Shell

Director

Dr. Michael Shell was ordained as a non-denominational minister in February of 2006. In July of 2010 Dr. Shell was accepted into Formation Training for the Priesthood by the Old Catholic Church of North America under the direction and guidance of the Diocese of Florida.

Dr. Shell holds a Master of Theology in Biblical Studies and a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling. Dr. Shell is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor through the International Board of Christian Counselors and is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.

Dr. Shell has had several years of experience and training both as a pastor and in the secular field of counseling in treating:

-Adults and adolecents

-Children, including children of divorce and those in the child protective system

-Foster and adoptive care

-Marriage and family concerns including step-families

-Spiritual issues

-Crisis counseling

-Aging issues
